Annual Homecoming Celebration
Guest Preacher, Pastor Mark Riddix, III
Mt. Zion Baptist Church
The mission of Fountain Baptist Church is to produce disciples for Christ with a servant’s heart, through teaching the word of God, which will increase our member’s passion, faith, hope and love for Christ and the community in which we all live.
Destined to serve the holistic needs of humanity with the Good News of Jesus Christ and determined to reach the world with a kingdom focus.
F ~ Faith Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
R ~ Relationship Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
I ~ Inheritance In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.
E ~ Evangelism But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
2 Timothy 4:5
N ~ Necessity Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Romans 12:2
D ~ Discipleship Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Matthew 9:37
L ~ Love Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' Matthew 22:37-39
Y ~ Yes Lord She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. John 11:27
